This suburb is part of the hinterland and is close to the Wet'N'Wild theme park. Easy access to the M1 motorway, Smith Street for Southport. Local schools are Gaven Primary, Jubilee Primary, Oxenford Primary, Pacific Pines Primary and Secondary schools. There is a small shopping centre with a Woolworths supermarket. Close by is Helensvale Shopping Centre with Bi Lo and The Warehouse. This area is quite hilly and has many new housing estates, and gated medium density estates. There is boat access to the Coomera River off the Tamborine-Oxenford Road, Upper Coomera. Pacific Pines is more established and has many 'Queenslander' style homes. Helensvale train station is close by.
