| This suburb mainly consists
of conservation parks in surrounding flood plains. Homes
to the northern end have access to the Coombabah Creek.
Boat ramps can be found at Runaway Bay, Biggera Waters,
Paradise Point and Boykambil. Pine Ridge Road gives access
to Brisbane Road and is the main bus route. Coombabah
is close to Runaway Shopping Village and Harbour Town,
local library, community centre, various sporting facilities,
Sports Super Centre, Gold Coast Country Club at Helensvale,
Runaway Bay Yacht Club, Helensvale Station. Schools close
by are St Francis Xavier Catholic primary, Coombabah Primary
and Secondary. A.B Paterson College (K-12 co-ed) is off
Brisbane Road, Arundel. There are a few relocatable parks
on Pine Ridge Road and retirement villages. |
