Firstly, we are not in the market of selling your personal details as that is not the structure of our business.

We understand that when accessing our website or interacting with us online, the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information is important to yourself. That is why we are committed to safeguarding the personal and financial details you provide us.

The following explains what information we gather from you when you go to our website, how we use that information and how you can contact us for more information.

The information we collect

Each time someone visits our site, our web server collects the following types of information:

The number of users who visit
The date and time of visits
The number of pages viewed
How users navigate through the site
Country of origin

No attempts are made to identify anyone browsing our site. The data is captured so that we can accurately evaluate the quality of our content and make improvements for you. We need to do this to ensure that we are being found in search engines results or we will not be able to stay in business. We do not know who you are until you either complete an online form where you provide us voluntarily with your details or you send us an email. When completing an online form and you do not provide your email address, we are unable to reply to your request or question. We suggest if you do not want to provide us with your personal ISP email address, that you create a free Hotmail or Gmail account.

1. Completing online forms
All forms where we ask for your confidential details is done on a secure site where we use the highest form of encryption to protect your sensitive information. You know the site is secure when you can see the padlock in the bottom of your browser window.

When your details are sent via email from this secure page to us, the information is scrambled, sent in a ‘packet’, then it is unscrambled once we receive it.

2. Newsletter subscription
Stored on our server, your email address is the information kept when you subscribe to our newsletter. You can at any time ‘opt-out’ and your email address will be removed immediately as the process has been automated. We do not sell this list and use it only for the sending of our own newsletter and direct marketing purposes. We do allow other companies to advertise on this newsletter, however they NEVER have access to our mail list database.

3. Storing of information
The only information we store is when you complete an online form. This is a digital file and is stored on a password protected PC.

What is a cookie?
Cookies are based on a two-stage process. First the cookie is stored in the user’s computer without their consent or knowledge. For example, with customizable Web search engines like My Yahoo!, a user selects categories of interest from the Web page. The Web server then creates a specific cookie, which is essentially a tagged string of text containing the user’s preferences, and it transmits this cookie to the user’s computer. The user’s Web browser, if cookie-savvy, receives the cookie and stores it in a special file called a cookie list. This happens without any notification or user consent. As a result, personal information (in this case the user’s category preferences) is formatted by the Web server, transmitted, and saved by the user’s computer.

During the second stage, the cookie is clandestinely and automatically transferred from the user’s machine to a Web server. Whenever a user directs the Web browser to display a certain Web page from the server, the browser will, without the user’s knowledge, transmit the cookie containing personal information to the Web server.

Cookies can be removed from your computer by deleting the files in your temporary Internet folder on your C drive, Windows directory. Deleting these files will not affect your computer’s performance other than increase your file storage space. You can set your browser (e.g Internet Explorer) not to accept cookies or to be prompted to approve the cookie being stored on your computer.
